Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information from Google.

Audio and Transcription Data

When you use SpeechType, your voice audio is sent to third-party speech recognition services for transcription. We do not store your audio recordings. Transcribed text is delivered directly to your device and is not stored on our servers.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage metrics such as transcription minutes used, session counts, and feature usage to improve our service.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage data is retained in anonymized form. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit. Account credentials are hashed and salted. We do not store raw audio or transcription content on our servers.
